桃太郎伝説のモデルになったとされる吉備津彦命と温羅の戦いの伝承が残る遺跡や神社、古墳には、日本遺産に認定されているものがあります。

鬼ノ城は、復元された山城からの絶景をはじめ治水技術の高さや、いまなお残る歴史のミステリーが大変魅力です。

Some of the ruins, shrines, and tombs that preserve the legend of the battle between Kibitsuhiko-no-Mikoto and Ura, said to have inspired the Momotaro legend, have been designated as Japan Heritage Sites.

Kinoshiro is particularly attractive for its spectacular views from its restored mountain castle, its advanced flood control technology, and the historical mysteries that remain.

Touring the enormous tombs and shrines can be a hassle, but with a sightseeing taxi, you can leave it to the driver to take you to the sightseeing spots. There’s also no need to worry about parking.
